Our Fire Chief joined our team on September 1, 2019, with an impressive 40 years of experience in the fire service. His favorite motto, "In the fire service, you can never say never and never say always," reflects his understanding of the ever-changing nature of the field.
Throughout his career, he excelled in fire services, ambulance services, and even with a Sheriff's Office, primarily in Arizona. His dedication to growth is evident with a Masters Degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership from Grand Canyon University and graduation from the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
Recognized as Arizona's Fire Chief of the Year in 2009, his leadership and contributions are highly regarded. Beyond his professional life, our Fire Chief is a passionate baseball enthusiast, playing in an old man's league in the Roseville area and participating in tournaments across the country. He has even played internationally, including in his Italian homeland.
Family is important to our Fire Chief, as he regularly returns to Arizona to spend time with his grand twins, Hazel and Henry.
With his extensive experience, unwavering dedication, and his motto guiding his approach, our Fire Chief leads by example. He promotes a culture of adaptability, open-mindedness, continuous learning, and professionalism within our organization.
His influence ensures the safety and well-being of our community, while his love for baseball and family enrich his life beyond the fire service.
