The Georgetown Fire Department welcomed home Engine 361 this morning and the 3-person crew that has been deployed for 22 days.  Engineer Andrew Gregory, Captain Theresa Snoke and Firefighter Ryan Forwood have been on a CAL FIRE cover assignment.  They spent time in 4 different CAL FIRE stations in 2 different counties.  They also responded on numerous fires, including the Caldor, Bridge and several lightning caused fires in Georgetown and around the Divide.  This same crew had been deployed earlier this summer for 17 days on the Tamarack and Dixie fires.

They were replaced by another 4 person Georgetown Fire Crew who has already covered 2 different CAL FIRE stations in 2 separate counties.

We are incredibly proud of all our personnel, the ones that deploy and the ones that stay home to ensure that Georgetown is covered

Fire Chief Glenn Brown
