Georgetown Fire Department has a new Fire Chief

The Georgetown Fire Department will be hosting a Badge Pinning Ceremony and Meet & Greet for our New Fire Chief

Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

IOOF Hall, 6240 Main St. in Georgetown

The Georgetown Fire Department invites our community to a Badge Pinning Ceremony and Meet & Greet for our new Fire Chief.

Glenn Brown comes to us from Arizona where he has served in the fire service and other public safety agencies for over 36 years.  Glenn has an extensive background in combination departments (paid/volunteer) and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and education to the Divide.  He is a graduate of the prestigious National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer program, has a Master of Arts Degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership and was voted as Arizona’s Chief Fire Officer of the Year in 2009.

“I am thrilled to finish my career in the small town fire department I’ve always dreamed of.”  “I’d love to meet the members of the community and have them see my granddaughter Kloie place my Georgetown Fire Chief badge on me for the first time,” stated Chief Brown.
